Piedmont University Swim Team - Social Media Manager/ Team Manager
I didn’t pick up a camera just to take pictures or edit videos — I did it to tell stories that matter. Sports and film have always been a part of my life, and I’ve seen how powerful visuals can be in capturing the grit, joy, and humanity behind every moment.
I started documenting athletics and campus life because I wanted people to feel the energy of competition, the dedication of athletes, and the community that sports create. Over time, I realized my work could also give a voice to those who aren’t always seen — like in my Chronic Athlete documentary, where I highlight athletes with chronic conditions who defy stereotypes.
My “why” is simple: to inspire, connect, and make people feel something real through the stories I capture.
Gainsville Parks and Recreation Department - Marketing Internship
I grew up appreciating how public spaces bring people together — from family outings at splash zones to neighbors gathering for local markets. When I had the chance to work with Gainesville Parks & Rec, I saw the opportunity to fuse creativity with community.
My goal with their media and marketing work is not just to make pretty posts, but to amplify community voice — to help people see themselves in the parks, to know what’s happening, and to feel invited. Every time I film an event, craft a flyer, or update a website page, I’m driven by this: making the city’s heart (its parks, its people, its gatherings) visible and vibrant.
I didn’t do this for a title — I did it because I believe in community connection, storytelling that’s rooted in place, and visuals that make people stop scrolling and choose to show up.
